Lindsay Jackson
Lindsay completed her undergraduate studies at Queen’s University where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Art History and a double minor in Political Science and French Literature. She went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Art History with a first class standing from the University of Toronto, specializing in Modern Art. During her graduate studies, Lindsay was the teaching assistant for the Canadian Art Department and remains an active member of the UofT alumni.
Lindsay’s professional experience in the art industry began as a docent at the Agnes Art Etherington Center and as an intern at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, leading museum tours for the public and private patrons. She was then hired at Christie's Canada as a Senior Administrator.
Lindsay began her career with Heffel in 2007. Currently, as the Director of Appraisals, Eastern Division, Lindsay manages Heffel’s eastern division of the appraisal department and is also a senior Consignment Specialist. She has ten years of experience in Fine Canadian Art, and has expertise appraising both Private, Estate and Corporate Collections. Lindsay is passionate about Post-War and Contemporary Art and enjoys telephone bidding at Heffel’s live auctions.
