Canadian masterworks on display in Calgary ahead of May live auction
An art auction house is launching a public preview of Canadian masterworks Thursday in southeast Calgary. Works by Group of Seven legends Lawren Harris, A.Y. Jackson, Franklin Carmichael, A.J. Casson and Arthur Lismer as well as other prominent Canadian artists such as Tom Thomson, Alex Janvier and Emily Carr will be auctioned online and can be viewed in person this weekend.
