Images of the two friends who are popular representations of Zen Buddhism (in China they are known as Hanshan and Shide), Kanzan, the former poet holding a scroll, and Jittoku, the former kitchen worker holding a broom, both wearing monastic garb. Signed Hasegawa Koryusai (or Furyusai), stamped with red seals.
