The carving shows a central motif of two boys, one with a banner, the other with a branch of lotus, all surrounded by Greek keyfret patterns. The top and bottom have drill holes to pass silk tassels through. The lot is together with a pale celadon jade disc depicting a boy surrounded with auspicious motifs and a serpentine pendant of a floral sprig, insects and lingzhi fungus.
