The octagonal dish with central scene of a finely dressed lady with arm resting on a barrel stool while seated on a red and gold carpet, her arm outstretched to receive a cup of tea from an attendant dressed in blue, to the left is a female attendant with a large fan bordered by peacock feathers, each of the four edges containing a landscape scene, the bottom with a shield bearing the Arms of Gordon, the top with a dexter hand rising from a pink heart while holding a scimitar blade.
