By descent to the present Private Collection, Vancouver

The bodhisattva of compassion realistically carved and wearing her monastic robes that are blowing in the wind, her hands clasped in the gesture of meditation while her right wrist supports a basket of peonies, her face with a stoic expression and wearing a high crown containing miniature figure of Amida Buddha, her crown, ears and neck all bearing elaborate tasselled jewelry, all the while standing on her trusted three-clawed dragon mount with gaping jaws and detailed scales and whiskers, all amidst crashing waves. Base with incised signature and seal.
