PROVENANCE
Acquired in Hong Kong by the Estate of an Indo-Burmese Doctor, Ottawa, 1970s


The pebble depicting a recumbent horse with a small monkey on its back, all mounted on a bronze box with Daoist emblem chasework and fitted with reticulated serpentine panels.

Please note: The pebble measures 1 x 2 x ½ inches. The box measures 2 ¼ x 5 ¼ x 3 ¼ inches.
