A gift from the Artist to Michael Greenwood, Toronto
By descent to the present Private Collection, Toronto

In 1968 Michael Greenwood was appointed the first curator of York University's art collection and oversaw the establishment of the university's art gallery in 1972. Roy Kiyooka was one of many artists whose works were featured in exhibitions curated by Greenwood prior to leaving his post in 1984.

Please note: the measurement of 25 x 25 inches is the dimensions of the work including the white supporting board, and is as noted on the artist's label verso. The painted canvas alone measures 16 x 16 inches.
