This book was written by Louis Hémon and published by Mornay Press in Paris in 1933. The book has 54 illustrations by Clarence Alphonse Gagnon. This edition has a unique leather binding and case made by one of Canada's foremost design bookbinders, Pierre Ouvrard, in 1969.
