A gift from the Artist to Lucien Bertin, Paris
By descent to the present Private Collection, Miami, Florida
Lucien Bertin founded the Jeunes France-Canada Association in Paris in 1946 and the Accueil Franco-Canadien in 1947. The mandate of both organizations was to facilitate student mobility between both countries after World War II. This work was offered by the artist to Lucien Bertin around 1956 - 1958, in recognition of his efforts in the development of cultural diplomacy between France and Canada.
