The works by David Blackwood in this session comprise some of the most carefully selected examples possible. This meticulously assembled collection was built by collectors who were often given the opportunity to select their impressions in advance of exhibitions, allowing them to choose the strongest, most pristinely printed works. Their selections were then archivally framed, many by the noted Emmett’s Frames of Toronto, maintaining their ideal condition.

Please note that this work is uniquely titled. The artist titled this first impression Study for Heber Fifield, with the remainer of the edition titled Study for Great Mummer.
