The catalogue raisonné states that the edition is "unlimited with 100 signed with a rubber stamp and numbered on verso; some dated on recto. Published for an exhibition at Leo Castelli Gallery, New York, April 2 - April 27, 1966."

Cow was printed at Bill Miller's Wallpaper Studio, New York and published by Andy Warhol.
