Marie-Jo Paquet
Marie-Jo has 20 years of experience in executive roles in the auction business. Marie-Jo was Assistant Vice President of Sotheby’s Canada, concentrating on business development for Canadian and international art. She has worked closely with private and institutional clients coordinating consignments and acquisitions and also has extensive experience conducting private sales for Canadian and international art.
In 2014, she helped bring Canadian art to New York through the landmark Sotheby’s selling exhibition, “Canadian Abstraction”. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art History from Concordia University and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art and Design Connoisseurship from Christie’s Education in London, England. Marie-Jo is fluent in French and Italian and has a working knowledge of Dutch.
