LITERATURE
Frank Moher, "Meet you at the Bay", The Oshawa Times, May 4, 1983

Ronald Barber was commissioned by HBC to create this sculpture for display in the Ottawa Shopping complex in 1983. The white oak carving was part of a 350-year-old tree that came from the Vincent Massey estate in Port Hope. He dried the log using an oil fire dryer, used a broom handle for the barrel of the gun and used and a piece of tin that fell off a roof for the trigger. Painted with enamel paint. The carving was eventually sent to the Victoria store for display.
