With a form based on archaic bronzes, the vase of a faceted pear-shape and rising to a quatrefoil rim, and with shoulders flanked with two flattened lug handles, the glaze an even strawberry tone with phosphatic splashes along the edges. Base with six-character incised Daoguang mark.
