By descent to the present Private Collection, Calgary


Consisting of a teapot with cover, a tea caddy with exterior and interior cover, a sugar castor with cover, and a creamer, each piece elaborately chased with a complex design of raised blossoming irises amongst water plants with rippling water, the handles and spouts similarly decorated. The teapot with bone spacers in the handle and each base marked ‘jungin’ (pure silver). Includes a related silver sugar tong with floral-form jaws. Total weight 1298 grams.
