Andrews immigrated to Canada in 1947 with her husband, Walter Morgan, whom she had met while working in the shipyards as part of the war effort. They settled in what was then the remote logging community of Campbell River, BC. She resumed her printmaking in 1951 after an eleven-year gap in her linocut production.
